New Energy Yoga Flow suitable for all levels, we catch up with Jude to find out more about her new class now on the  schedule

Yoga has completely taken over my life, I just love how accessible it is, anybody can do it and feel the benefits. I feel so privileged to be able to teach and share my passion.

Tell us about your class and what we can expect from Energy Yoga Flow?

Energy Yoga Flow is a flowing class in a heated room that will take you through a fast paced vinyasa sequence as well as postures focusing on balance and flexibility. There is always space to develop your yoga practice and try new postures that you might not have the confidence to try before. You will be surprised how quickly your body will adapt and feel great! Stay with your breath during the class and follow your own pace…it’s OK to take a break, this is your yoga practice. Just some of the Benefits: Increase flexibility, build upper and lower body strength, gain focus and physicality.

How will I feel after class?

Its a full body workout which will leave you feeling energised, strong, ready for the day, balanced and zen.

Jude, can you tell us a bit more about you?

judes_headshotI have trained as a professional dancer my entire life and yoga seemed to be a natural progression. My first yoga class was 8 years ago at a little studio in Clapham and I absolutely adored it. It challenged me in a completely different way but I loved that there was no judgement… it was just about me and my yoga. This was a hot power class which at first was the only yoga I found that was right for me.

I had tried Bikram but it did’t really do it for me at first. It wasn’t until I moved to Bristol that I committed myself to the Bikram practice and I fell in love. It was becoming a part of the team at Bikram Yoga Bristol that made me decide that I really wanted to teach, but it felt right for me to go back to my yoga roots so I signed up to do the Hot Power Yoga teacher training. Yoga has completely taken over my life, I just love how accessible it is, anybody can do it and feel the benefits.

I still dance with a company, teach adult ballet and Pilates and I also train in aerial circus skills which is great fun. Yoga supports my training physically but also mentally, I have become a lot more grounded and less critical of myself. I feel so privileged to be able to teach and share my passion.

What days and times are your classes available?

Wednesday 7.15pm, Fridays 6.45am and Saturday 5pm, so hopefully this gives everyone a chance to attend throughout the week . I’m  happy to answer any questions about the class, so come and have a chat when you are next at the studio if you want to find out more, or come along to a class this week!
